About the Client
OHAYU is an international eSIM service for travelers, digital nomads, and remote teams. The brand’s blog serves as its primary informational resource, offering expert insights on global mobile connectivity, international data plans, travel guidance, and technology solutions for staying connected abroad.
-
Project Goals
Our primary objective was to redesign the blog’s visual layout and structure in alignment with the updated brand design, improve overall usability, and maintain strong SEO performance without losing existing search rankings.
-
Scope of Work
WordPress development, blog redesign, UX/UI optimization.
-
Redesign
The blog’s visual design was fully updated according to the approved Figma layouts — including the homepage, article pages, and a custom 404 page.
-
Performance
Page load speed was optimized, resulting in improved user engagement and better interaction with blog content.
-
SEO
The site’s SEO structure was preserved and enhanced, including optimized meta tags, proper pagination, breadcrumbs, structured indexing, and stable Google rankings.
-
Content Management
Daily workflows for the content team were simplified through full Gutenberg compatibility and custom components (authors, banners, tags).
The project was implemented in structured phases — from website cloning to full production deployment. Throughout the process, we maintained close collaboration with the OHAYU team via Google Docs, Telegram, and regular Google Meet calls.
Project Goals
During the project implementation, we completed the following tasks:
• Implementation of a fully custom design based on Figma layouts
• Page load speed optimization
• Maximum editing convenience for the content team
• Mobile optimization with mandatory testing on popular iPhone and Android devices, as the majority of website traffic comes from mobile users
The complexity of the project was due to the fact that the main website is built as a React SPA. This meant that header elements and styling components could not be reused — everything had to be developed from scratch to ensure design and UX consistency.
